A rare Family Linens find in Chatou, just outside of Paris, in March this
year. This jelly jar is a handsome example of French country glass. It is heavy and stout.
With 8 defined sections, it flares from 3-inch diameter base to a 4-3/4-inch double-lipped
mouth. It is heavy in the hand and larger than the classic "jellies" we have found in the past. It holds 300ml or 1-1/2 Cups. Pass the chutney!
(Antique glass should not be used to process jams and jellies today, nor is it
dishwasher safe.)
